Anyone who says they have no interest in others’ opinions of their homes is not telling the full truth. Of course, we want to be proud of our homes, we want to show them off and spend a lot of time and money making sure they look the best they can. After all, think about the sheer volume of home bloggers on Instagram – it’s a lucrative business to keep your home looking amazing! This homeowner was no exception and wanted a completely new look. First on the list was white leaded UPVC windows and white composite door, and the result was an entirely new face for the property. The main event being the bay window, which attracts attention to the leaded detail on the glass.
Look to the side of the bay window and you’ll find a completely fresh-looking entrance. The composite door is not just good-looking, but resilient and packed with thermal efficiency, thanks to its clever construction. For the sake of decoration, bevelled glass has been placed into part of the door, which also helps to obscure the entrance view behind it. As you can imagine, the occupants were quick to make this entrance even more prominent on the property by adding an array of floor plants and colourful hanging basket. The addition of some natural Earthy colours helped set it off perfectly. It’s difficult to criticise this project, as the occupant clearly takes so much pride in the appearance of the house, and it’s not hard to see why!
