Although authentic timber windows are practical and aesthetically-pleasing, it can sometimes be a bit of a nightmare keeping on top of their care – they tend to be susceptible to letting in the weather as they get older. However, wooden windows have a certain charm, and through the help of the Envisage range, we were able to bring this to the homes of many, no matter the age of the house. Envisage windows are basically an imitation of real timber windows, but only to the extent of their appearance. In this case, the homeowner decided to have the windows fitted with a white internal and external finish, to complete the look. The windows were finished off with period hardware.
Each individual window features elegant Georgian bar detailing, and once closed, they insulate the house to an extremely high standard. Any homeowner can trust Envisage to keep them secure, as we worked hard to develop a multi-point locking mechanism, which stays shut once the windows have been locked. White was the colour of choice when it came to the windows, due to its contrast with the old black hues displayed proudly across the front entrance and garage doors. In addition to all of this, the most impressive part was how Envisage was able to complement this modern property to the same extent as one ten times its age.
