Solid Tiled Roofs

A solid tiled roof adds a completely novel dimension to both existing and new-build conservatories and orangeries in a variety of styles.

Our solid roofs for conservatories & orangeries are manufactured using the latest solid roof tile system and are a great way to revitalise your tired conservatory or orangery and restore your pride in it.  We offer both the Guardian Warm Roof & the UltraRoof – both recognised as the very best in solid roof technology offering maximum thermal efficiency. Both our solid roofs are the perfect solution to creating extended comfort inside your conservatory or orangery regardless of the weather outside. A solid roof consists of tiles offering extra strength and durability. Our tiles are available in a wide variety of colours and finishes to match your home and you can even include glazed windows within your roof with our Guardian Warm Roof & the UltraRoof systems.

Our Guardian Warm Roof will make your conservatory a year-round space...

It can be hugely frustrating for a householder when they’re kept out of their conservatory in summer and winter because it’s poorly insulated and either too hot or too cold. The blame can largely be pointed at the roofing system. So, the obvious solution is to replace your old glass or polycarbonate roof for the Guardian Warm Roof. It won’t just guarantee you a cosy conservatory in all weathers, but it will also enhance its look.

The Guardian Warm Roof is a fully approved system that has been put through various testing procedures and meets current structural standards. Comprised of a pre-engineered lightweight frame, it also contains two layers of rigid insulation board, internal insulated plasterboard, exterior grade plywood and a vapour membrane. Once in place, it will repel the added heat that comes in summer and retain any warmth generated inside of the extension in winter, assuring you of continuous thermal comfort, without excess energy usage.

The UltraRoof is a pioneering roofing system...

The lightweight nature of the UltraRoof, and its impressive insulating standards, make it the perfect replacement roof system for glass or polycarbonate conservatory roofs. Ahead of fitting the UltraRoof and taking out your current roof, we perform a series of checks, including assessing the structural integrity of any existing windows and doors. If the windows and doors also need replacing, James Oliver will be able to attend to this, and can usually do so whilst retaining the original base. Any new windows and doors will deliver durability, security and their style will match the character of the extension. If you want a more dramatic makeover of your conservatory, and wish to alter its shape or style, James Oliver can organise that too.
