When considering the best way to do this, the Langworth Memorial Hall immediately sprung to mind – Langworth is where James Oliver, the founder of the company, lives with his family.

The James Oliver team installed a set of white UPVC French doors free of charge, providing easy access to the outdoor area. Just outside of the hall, there is a fully enclosed children’s play area and a playing field that can be used for outside events. There’s also an option to hire a marquee on the grounds.

Managing Director, Tom Oliver, spoke of the reason behind the installation: “It is great to be able to help my local village with the new doors for Langworth Memorial Hall. I have lived here all my life so it’s an absolute pleasure to be able to give something back.”

The village hall has always been a place for the community to come together, whether that’s with a weekly game of bingo or providing an affordable place for the community to celebrate important life events.

In today’s current climate, the village hall is especially important as a place for the community to lean on each other. For many members of the community, especially the elderly, the Langworth Memorial Hall prevents them from feeling isolated.

Langworth Memorial Hall hosts many fundraising charity events and private functions throughout the year.

With a venue capacity of up 150 people, the community hall has seen many happy times and the community is keen to keep it that way.
