Set up by the Glass and Glazing Federation in 2002, the Fenestration Self Assessment Scheme is government-authorised and regulates window and door companies, ensuring they deliver best practice and fit their products in accordance with building regulations.
James Oliver has received this coveted industry accreditation, but we really had to earn it.
FENSA’s tough team of assessors put our work firmly under the microscope before crowning us as FENSA accredited, watching our installers in person to make sure they fitted windows and doors to the highest level.
The accreditation can be withdrawn by FENSA if they believe our standards to have dropped below what they expect of all their approved members, which they determine through regular monitoring. We refuse to let that happen though as being FENSA accredited is such a powerful marketing and sales tool for our business and a ringing industry endorsement that you would never want to lose.
A separate reason a customer should only appoint a FENSA installer is because they are the only window and door companies permitted to issue FENSA certificates.
